Job summary

Job Source USA, Inc. in Omaha seeks a Finish Project Lead to guide HVAC finish installations from handoff to occupancy. You will manage daily workflow, coordinate apprentices, perform startup and commissioning, verify quality, and ensure compliance with codes.

Strong leadership and communication are essential. The role is temp-to-hire with a $30.00/hour pay rate, Monday–Friday schedule, and a $350 attendance bonus for perfect attendance in the first 30 days.

Qualifications

• Experience leading HVAC finish installation projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications.
• Knowledge of applicable mechanical codes and safety standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC finish installation projects from start to completion.
• Review project handoff information and understand scope and requirements.
• Plan daily work activities and assign tasks to apprentices and crew members.
• Install HVAC equipment, ductwork components, registers, thermostats, controls, and accessories.
• Perform system startup, commissioning, airflow balancing, testing, and verification.
• Ensure installations meet quality standards and codes.
• Monitor labor performance and progress toward labor goals.
• Communicate project progress and material shortages to leadership.
• Train and mentor apprentices through hands-on leadership.
• Maintain organized jobsites, tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Complete project documentation and closeout procedures.

Finish Project Lead

About This Opportunity

The Finish Project Lead is responsible for leading HVAC finish installation projects from project handoff through final completion. This role ensures work is completed safely, on schedule, within labor goals, and in compliance with company quality standards and applicable codes. The Finish Project Lead oversees daily workflow, coordinates apprentices, performs system startup and commissioning, verifies quality control, and ensures every project is completed professionally and ready for customer occupancy.

Bonus Opportunity

• $350 Attendance Bonus for perfect attendance during the first 30 days

Assignment Details

Pay: $30.00hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 4:00 PM
