Job summary

Van Metre is seeking a skilled Punchout Associate to support our Field Systems department and Van Metre Homes. As the Punchout Associate, you will execute punchout and finish work to ensure homes meet quality standards and are prepared for delivery and customer experience.

The role requires 2+ years in residential construction or finish work, proficiency with hand tools, and willingness to travel between job sites daily.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential construction or finish work experience preferred.
• Proficient with hand tools and finish materials.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to travel between assigned job sites daily.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Complete interior punchout tasks including drywall repair, caulking, paint touch-ups, and hardware adjustments.
• Perform finish carpentry tasks such as baseboard, trim, and cabinetry repairs or replacements.
• Complete final preparation work including screen installation, filter replacements, and visual polish of finishes.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and site presentation at all times.
• Execute assigned punch list items with urgency, craftsmanship, and pride.
• Adhere to Van Metre safety protocols and construction field procedures in all tasks.
