Job summary

Trotter Workforce in Souderton, PA is seeking a Finish Machine Operator for 1st shift to safely run pouch-making equipment and hit production and quality targets.

You will perform changeovers, preventive maintenance, data entry, and production reporting, while training Finish Assistants and supporting daily operations.

1st Shift

Responsibilities:

Finish Machine Operators are responsible for operating pouch-making equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining production and quality standards. This position performs machine changeovers, preventive maintenance, quality checks, roll changes, splice removal, production reporting, and data entry.

The operator also supports the daily work of Finish Assistants and helps train new and current employees. This role is ideal for a dependable, detail-oriented team member who is comfortable working with production equipment and helping others succeed.

• Set up, operate, and monitorpouch-making equipment.
• Perform machine changeoversaccurately and efficiently.
• Complete preventive maintenanceactivities on assigned equipment.
• Change material rolls and removesplices as required.
• Perform quality control checksand enter required production and quality data.
• Maintain accurate productionrecords and reports.
• Keep equipment and thesurrounding work area clean, orderly, and production ready.
• Oversee and support the dailywork performed by Finish Assistants.
• Train new hires and currentemployees on assigned processes and equipment.
• Remove trash, trim, andproduction waste from the work area.
• Follow all plant safety rules andreport safety or equipment concerns immediately.
• Report food safety or qualityconcerns to a person with authority to initiate corrective action.
• Perform other related duties asassigned.
