Job summary

E.S. Wagner Company, LLC has an excellent opportunity for a Finish Dozer Operator on our Shelby, NC project. The role requires operating a GPS finish dozer to grade material with tight tolerances and to coordinate activity with other crews on site.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of dozer operating experience, a strong focus on safety, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Competitive salary with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a GPS finish dozer on slopes and subgrade to support high production excavation and embankment
• Minimum 5 years of operating experience
• Successfully pass pre-employment drug screening

Responsibilities

• Operate dozer to grade material to tight tolerances including slopes as steep as 2:1
• Level soil dumped from on and off-road trucks
• Coordinate machine actions with other activities, moving in response to hand or audio signals
• Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions and follow all safety procedures
