Job summary

AKN Interiors is seeking an experienced Residential Remodeling Carpenter to deliver high-quality finish work on custom residential projects in the Greater Pittsburgh area. You will work from detailed drawings, collaborate with an assigned Project Manager, and contribute to rooms that require precise craftsmanship.

The role emphasizes problem-solving in occupied homes, with projects ranging from kitchens to bathrooms and additions, including occasional tile work and exterior carpentry tasks.

Qualifications

• At least three years of residential remodeling or comparable construction experience.
• Strong finish-carpentry skills are required.
• Ability to read architectural plans and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Complete residential remodeling work in kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, and other interior spaces.
• Perform framing, drywall installation and repairs, flooring, finish carpentry, cabinet work, trim work, and light painting.
• Install doors, trim, millwork, cabinetry, hardware, and other detailed finish components.
• Coordinate daily work with the assigned Project Manager and other field team members.
