Job summary

Sterling Infrastructure, Inc. is seeking an experienced Finish Blade Operator in Utah to perform finish grading and operating heavy equipment on our infrastructure projects. You will work with a team to grade using GPS/UTS, ensuring safety and quality standards across site work.

Responsibilities include operating the blade, grading, traveling to job sites, and supporting crew with labor duties as needed. This role requires flexibility for day, night, and weekend shifts when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of finish blade experience.
• Must value and practise safety in all duties.
• Must be a team player and willing to do laborer work.
• Willingness to travel to this and other job sites as necessary.
• Must be willing to work days, nights, weekends if needed.

• Perform various operator/laborer duties on projects.
• Safe operation of the blade and other equipment.
• Grade excavation and embankment to lay base and materials.
• Blade haul roads and other general work.
• Finish grade work to blue tops or close specifications.
• Operate Caterpillar 140H and John Deere 672GP.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Description

As a Finish Blade Operator, you must will be responsible for the following responsibilities;

• Perform various operator/laborer duties on our projects
• Safe operation of the Blade and other equipment
• Motor Grader Operator will be responsible to grade excavation and embankment to lay base and other materials.
• The Motor Grader Operator may blade haul roads and other general work.
• In addition to the rough work responsibilities, the Motor Grader Operator will also performs finish grade work to blue tops or other close specification control.
• Equipment - Caterpillars 140H and John Deere 672GP
• Other duties as assigned Qualifications
