Job summary

AlphaGraphics US 219 is seeking a Production Finishing Specialist to operate bindery and finishing equipment and ensure completed projects are delivered to clients on schedule. This full-time role requires experience with finishing machines and a collaborative team environment in a Memphis area center.

You will read work orders, maintain production records, and uphold quality control standards while lifting up to 50 lbs and working at a waist-high table.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating finishing equipment in the print, signage, or related industries
• Positive, professional attitude

• Demonstrated ability to work quickly and neatly while multitasking
• Basic math skills and ability to use a computer
• Ability to lift 50 lbs safely and work over a waist-high table

• Ability to follow instructions and prioritize workload
• Must be able to communicate with others and work in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Read work orders to determine instructions and specifications for finishing of projects
• The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
• Operate finishing machine devices, such as cutters, folders, collators/stitchers, and other production finishing machines as available in the center to facilitate the final assembly of finished products
• Maintain records, such as daily production records, using specified forms
• Follow all quality control procedures as instructed by the owner or manager of the center
• Any other essential functions/duties that are needed to provide the highest quality customer service and product output
