Job summary

Kelly Services is hiring an Electro-Mechanical Assembler for a client in Lockport, IL. The role focuses on building electronic and mechanical subassemblies, including box builds and cable harnesses, with emphasis on soldering and inspection.

Pay ranges from $18 to $22 per hour, based on experience. First shift hours are 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This is a permanent, direct-hire position with competitive benefits and vacation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or technical diploma.
• 3+ years of related assembly experience or military technical training.
• Ability to read work instructions, schematics, bills of material, diagrams, and engineering change orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and advanced electro-mechanical assembly.
• Assemble wires, cables, and harnesses.
• Solder and rework fine-pitch SMT components under magnification.
• Inspect chassis, mechanical assemblies, cables, and harnesses for defects.
• Prepare components by cutting and stripping wire, wiring, and fastening connections.
• Complete other production activities as needed.
