Job summary

JCPenney in Weslaco, TX is seeking a Fine Jewelry Commission Sales Associate to be the resident guru around all things Fine Jewelry in the store. You know these products inside and out and love educating the customer on how your merchandise can enrich their lives.

You will educate customers on product details, drive sales, participate in inventory and operations, and earn 1% commission on qualifying merchandise plus 10% on Service and Care plans, with a base pay of $12.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years retail experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales – Approaches customers in a friendly manner to engage, determine needs, and help customers make decisions about desired product or service.
• General Operations – Participates in inventory processes and related activities; maintains sales floor cleanliness and organization.
• Performance Standards – Supports company goals and iCAP program, product sales, customer service, productivity, and attendance.
