The Sanderling Resort in Duck, North Carolina, is seeking a Server for The Lifesaving Station to deliver elevated dining experiences. You will greet guests, present menus, answer questions about ingredients and pairings, and coordinate with culinary and bar teams to ensure timely service.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience in a full-service restaurant preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Strong communication and guest engagement skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering elevated guest experiences.
• Successful completion of satisfactory background check.
• Available and willing to work flexible hours including weekdays and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival to assigned tables.
• Present menus, explain features and specials, and answer questions about ingredients and pairings.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all menu items including ingredients, preparation methods, allergens, wine selections, and cocktails.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
• Coordinate with culinary and bar teams to ensure accurate timing and proper course progression.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and ensure presentation meets resort standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests.
• Demonstrate teamwork and support dining room efficiency.
