Job summary

Vic's River Grill is seeking a friendly server to join our team in Savannah. You will deliver attentive service to create memorable dining experiences while promoting our mission of great food and great service.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, presenting menus, and ensuring accurate payments. You will work with a team to maintain smooth service and a welcoming environment for all guests.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume dining environment.
• Experience using multiple POS systems.
• Knowledge of all food allergens.
• Knowledge of beverages including wine, beer, liquor, tea and coffee.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests within the first three minutes and ensure a warm, friendly service.
• Take and relay orders accurately and promptly.
• Prepare checks and process payments.
• Describe menu items, specials, and wine pairings to guests.
• Monitor tables and address guest concerns courteously.
• Assist with host duties and greeting guests as needed.
• Escort guests to tables and maintain a clean dining area.
• Coordinate with staff to meet guest needs and support operations.
