Job summary

Eataly Dallas is hiring a Server to coordinate the dining room and ensure a guest experience that exceeds expectations. You will greet guests, present menus, relay orders to kitchen and bar, and work with hosts and staff to maintain a smooth service flow.

We seek candidates with 1+ year server experience; fine dining is a plus but not required. Availability to work onsite, evenings, weekends, and holidays is needed; expect to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of server experience preferred.
• Fine dining server experience is great but not required.
• Knowledge of the sequence of service and dining room procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and presents them with the menu.
• Informs guests of specials, menu changes, answers questions regarding food, beverages and allergies.
• Receives food and beverage orders from guests and relays to kitchen staff and bartender using a POS system.
• Communicates with the hosts, table support team, kitchen staff and bartenders to coordinate stations.
• Presents, opens and pours wine and beer when serving guests.
• Assists table support team with stocking work stations, removing and resetting used dishes/silverware.
• Assists with cash register at counter-service restaurants.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
