Job summary

The Fulton, part of Seaport Entertainment Group, is seeking a Server Assistant based in New York City. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will assist servers, attend to guests, and help execute smooth service with clean, well-stocked work areas.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year fine dining experience, strong multitasking and communication skills, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. This is a fast-paced hospitality opportunity in a dynamic waterfront setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ year Server Assistant experience in a fine dining, high volume setting and/or relevant, equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to think quickly and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and eloquently, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers by clearing tables, setting tables, refilling beverages, and dishware, and attending to guest requests.
• Deliver a high-quality food and beverage dining experience to all guests.
• Ensure the area is well stocked and maintain the cleanliness of the workspace throughout the shift.
• Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness and appearance throughout all areas of the restaurant both before, during and after service.
• Complete all assigned side work relevant to guest interactive service, in compliance with 80/20/30 rules.
• Provide attentive and quality service to all guests during their dining experience.
• Ensure consistent communication with staff members, management, and the kitchen during the service.
• Maintain dining ambiance with an enthusiastic and graceful attitude.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as per business need.
