Job summary

Wild Horse Pass Resort and Casino in Chandler, AZ is seeking a guest-focused dining support role to assist servers in a fine dining setting. You will help with menu questions, maintain knowledge of offerings, and ensure timely, attentive service with proper table settings.

The position requires a high school diploma (preferred) and experience in fast-paced service; cash handling and wine knowledge are valued. Certifications in food handling and alcohol awareness may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume dining or nightclub preferred.
• Able to handle cash accurately and perform basic math for POS transactions.
• In-depth wine and alcohol knowledge preferred.
• Must acquire and maintain food handler and alcohol awareness certifications.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and provides excellent guest service experiences to guests.
• Assist with answering menu or beverage questions posed by guests.
• Maintains knowledge of the dining menu and any special items being offered.
• Observes guests and anticipates needs and completes all steps of service.
• Provides quick, attentive, friendly, and professional service to guests while communicating clearly.
• Properly marks tables with correct table settings and maintains service flow.
• Ensures food items are picked up and served promptly and meet presentation standards.
• Buses tables and maintains restaurant cleanliness during peak periods.
• Complies with alcohol service policies and maintains professional appearance.
• Communicates positively with guests and team members.
