Job summary

Eddie & Vinny’s Coastal Italian is seeking a Line Cook in New York to manage the cook station, receive guest orders, and plate items to our quality standards.

You will maintain a clean workstation, assist teammates, and ensure proper storage and sanitation while upholding our brand and menu standards.

Qualifications

• The ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Must be enthusiastic and committed to guest satisfaction.
• Must stand and walk for extended periods and perform simple math.
• Must adhere to sanitation, safety standards, and uniform policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage the cook station, set up procedures, and plate menu items to quality standards.
• Communicate guest orders to line cooks and expedite timely plating.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and proper storage procedures.
• Follow end-of-shift procedures and assist teammates as needed.
• Know all menu items and explain specials to front-of-house staff.
