Job summary

The Atlanta Athletic Club is seeking a polished Fine Dining Host for the Merion Room, our premier dining venue. You will be the first and last impression for members and guests, delivering warm hospitality, managing reservations, and guiding guests to tables.

This part-time role requires excellent communication, a professional appearance, and the ability to work Thursday through Saturday evenings and select holidays. The Club offers PTO, holiday pay, 401k options, and meal benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality, restaurant, or customer service experience required.
• Fine dining, private club, or upscale restaurant experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional hospitality to members and guests while upholding service standards.
• Review reservations, special requests, and member preferences prior to service.
• Conduct dining room walkthroughs and ensure menus and host station are service-ready.
• Greet and escort members and guests to their tables with professionalism and warmth.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements for smooth dining room flow.
• Communicate guest arrivals and special requests to managers and service staff.
• Anticipate guest needs and help create memorable dining experiences.
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand.
• Assist the dining room team as needed and perform other duties assigned by management.
