Job summary

Seneca Resorts & Casinos is seeking a Fine Dining Host/Hostess to provide professional, friendly service, greet guests, take reservations, and seat customers in a high-end dining environment. The role requires interaction with the public, clear English communication, and the ability to stand and move throughout shifts.

Candidates should be 18+, possess a HS diploma or equivalent, and ideally have three years of fine dining experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Previous customer service or three (3) years fine dining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests within ten seconds of arriving with the appropriate greeting and confirm reservations.
• Seating guests according to party sizes and rotation of sections to ensure efficiency.
• Provide prompt, friendly service and maintain a hospitable, polite demeanor to guests, co-workers and management.
• Know the menu, wine lists, and proper etiquette for coats, menus, and seating.
• Answer telephone calls according to host/hostess manual and assist guests with inquiries.
• Complete opening and closing side work and review server stations at shift start.
