The h.wood Group is seeking a talented Food Runner for Lady Delilah in New York City. You will help maintain smooth kitchen-to-table service in a fast-paced, fine dining setting and uphold high food quality standards.

Applicants should be 21+ with NY Food Handlers Certification and prior restaurant experience. Open availability is preferred to support peak service times, with emphasis on accuracy, speed and presentation.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• NY Food Handlers Certification required.
• Proven experience as food runner, expo, or similar restaurant position.
• Standing for long shifts and lifting up to 30 lbs as needed.
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient flow of orders from wait staff to the kitchen.
• Prioritize and expedite food orders to meet service pace.
• Organize and expedite food orders in the kitchen.
• Check tickets for correct order sequence and timing.
• Assist in final preparation and presentation of dishes.
• Deliver orders with speed while maintaining quality.
• Monitor sanitation and cleanliness standards in the area.
