Job summary

Eddie Merlot's is seeking a bartender with 2+ years of experience in a fine dining setting. You will prepare and serve beverages, maintain cleanliness, present checks, and ensure exceptional guest service in a stylish lounge and dining room.

Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required, with strict adherence to liquor regulations and safety standards. Knowledge of recipes, portion control, and upselling techniques will help drive guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Two or more years’ experience as a Bartender.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English clearly and effectively.
• Extensive knowledge of alcoholic beverages and mixed drinks.

Responsibilities

• Complete and pass required training modules.
• Know your work schedule for the week and arrive on time.
• Know and understand beverage and menu options; follow recipes.
• Greet guests and take beverage orders; prepare and serve drinks.
• Ensure bar and lounge are clean and well-stocked; assist with opening/closing duties.
• Follow procedures for check presentation, payment and tip reporting.
• Maintain teamwork and communicate guest requests or complaints to Managers.
