Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Proof of current TABC certification, or willingness to obtain at company expense within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations surrounding the bartending profession.
• Knowledge of mixology for traditional cocktails.
• Craft background preferred but not required.
• 1-2 years of experience as a bartender in a high-end establishment.
• Understanding of unique and complementary flavor pairings.
• Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness.
• Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and be responsive.
• Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol.
• Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Promote and uphold the Freestone Lake and Golf Club brand and values.
• Verify customer ages.
• Mix traditional cocktails.
• Process payments.
• Clean glasses and bar utensils.
• Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences.
• Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits.
• Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift.
• Build rapport with regular customers to create a positive and exciting atmosphere.
