Job summary

Houston ISD is seeking Curriculum Designer 1, Fine Arts to develop NES curriculum for music, dance, theater arts and visual arts, with emphasis on writing teacher-facing guides, slide decks, DOL, and differentiated activities aligned to daily objectives.

This role also serves as a liaison between campuses and District arts events, ensuring alignment with standards and supporting teachers in implementing the curriculum across sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop NES curriculum for Fine Arts (music, dance, theatre, visual arts).
• Create teacher-facing curriculum guides, slide decks, demonstrations of learning (DOL), and differentiated activities aligned to daily objectives.
• Act as liaison between campuses and District-level arts events to ensure alignment with standards.
