Job summary

Creative Planning seeks a Retirement Education Advisor to deliver high-quality financial education to 401(k) participants and clients. This role blends participant-focused education with relationship-centered planning, helping individuals make informed decisions and guiding them to Creative Planning’s broader wealth management services when deeper guidance is needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of financial services experience.
• Experience with qualified retirement plans and investments.
• Ability to present complex topics clearly and compellingly.
• Strong communication; presentation and relationship skills.
• Project management with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience working with all organizational levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, marketing, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for plans, participants, and clients, delivering proactive financial education.
• Collaborate with internal teams and sponsors to identify needs and deliver targeted education strategies and annual engagement plans.
• Lead group workshops, webinars, and one-on-one consultations on retirement planning, investing, budgeting, and financial wellness.
• Provide holistic financial guidance including investments, insurance, tax considerations, and estate planning, referring deeper support when needed.
• Champion the firm’s No Participant Left Behind philosophy by empowering informed action toward financial goals.
• Support business development, represent the education team in client meetings, and contribute to enterprise growth initiatives.
• Oversee accurate and timely service delivery with a positive, solutions-oriented approach in a dynamic environment.
• Travel up to 50% within the assigned geographic territory.
