Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some post-secondary education preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience considered in lieu of a diploma.
• NMLS license required.
• Experience in financial coaching or financial literacy education is required.
• Strong customer service and clear financial concepts communication required.
• Experience with loans, account openings, and guiding members through documentation.

Responsibilities

• Consult with members to meet financial needs; recommend Credit Union products and services.
• Process new accounts and loan requests; complete disbursement of approved loans.
• Ask open-ended questions to uncover opportunities and increase member engagement.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and risk controls; report gaps to leadership.
• Identify qualified referrals for Mortgage Lending, Member Business Services, and Retirement Solutions.
• Assist members with questions and resolve complaints regarding WPCU products and services.
• Perform end-of-day tasks, reporting, filing, and general duties.
