Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a Personal Banker to engage clients, uncover financial needs, and guide them toward solutions that support their wellness. You will attract new clients and deepen relationships within the branch team, delivering trusted banking experiences in person and by proactive calling.

The role requires a client-first, sales-driven mindset, strong teamwork, and polished communication. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred, with knowledge of digital platforms

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent business experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience developing customer relationships and achieving sales goals.
• Understanding of consumer credit concepts and ability to analyze financial health.
• Ability to educate clients on digital banking platforms and capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients to uncover needs and provide guidance for financial wellness.
• Open personal and small business accounts and promote deposit products.
• Build partnerships with branch teammates and external centers of influence.
• Ensure compliance with policies and properly document client interactions.
• Support branch operations and participate in morning huddles and end-of-day debriefs.
