Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a Personal Banker in Natrona Heights, PA to engage clients in conversations, uncover needs, and offer guidance to support financial wellness both in person and via proactive outreach.

As part of the branch team, you will attract new clients and deepen relationships with existing ones, while delivering exceptional service and maintaining compliance with bank policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of developing current and new customer relationships, achieving sales goals and building referral sources.
• Understanding of consumer credit including loan-to-value, debt-to-income and credit reports.
• Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques with clients, including tele-consulting, outside calling, prospecting, and networking.
• Comfortable interacting with small business clients, overcoming objections, and asking fact-finding questions.
• Experience influencing business partners and leveraging centers of influence (e.g., Investment Services, Mortgage, Business Banking).
• Working knowledge of PCs (Windows and Office) and ability to educate clients on digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Embodies a strong client experience culture, being present with every client and teammate and realizing the impact on their day.
• Listen for financial wellness opportunities during conversations and provide customized recommendations.
• Consistently attains activity, behavior, and outcome goals and expectations.
• Opening personal and business accounts (consumer checking, small business, deposits, loans, CDs, etc.).
• Developing partnerships with branch teammates and line of business partners to focus on client acquisition and deepening relationships.
• Ensuring compliance with operational, risk, security and audit procedures and proper documentation of client interactions.
• Support of branch operations including assisting with teller transactions as needed.
• Participate in and sometimes lead in-person morning huddles and end-of-day debriefs.
• Work on Saturdays as directed by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned; duties may change.
• Complies with KeyBank policies and procedures and maintains professional conduct.
