OPPORTUNITY

Our client operates in the real estate segment as a leader in leasing and property management for single-family homes in the Southeastern United States. This Financial Reporting Systems Manager role is a great opportunity for a Finance & Accounting professional with a passion for technology and automation to join a growing organization. This role will focus on streamlining the financial reporting function of the enterprise and working cross-functionally with leaders and business units to automate and standardize operations.

SCOPE OF WORK

• Collaborate with Finance and IT leadership to design, create, standardize, and automate the financial reporting functions of the enterprise.
• Utilize various business software applications and apply project management skills to automate and improve financial reporting processes.
• Act as a financial data steward to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient reporting for stakeholders such as executive leadership and investors.
• Work with senior leadership to automate key financial reports within the enterprise data warehouse reporting tool.
• Create and deliver reports on company performance, industry trends, and support data gathering for internal and external reporting.
• Coordinate with departments including IT and Operations to automate reporting, streamline workflows, and develop system enhancements.
• Analyze results with the CFO to develop detailed financial and variance analyses, and review real estate documents (leases, contracts, joint venture agreements, etc.).
• Build investment models to present KPIs and assess the profitability of current holdings.
• Maintain effective communication and partnerships with stakeholders and internal leaders.
• Conduct special projects and prepare ad-hoc reports as needed.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, investment reporting, or accounting.
• Preferably 2+ years of experience in the real estate industry.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with accounting and business tools such as Hyperion, PowerBI, Excel, OneStream, Salesforce, or similar data warehouse solutions.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain accurate documentation.
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and project management skills.
