Job summary

The Department of State's Bureau of the Comptroller and Global Financial Services (CGFS/GSS/PSS) seeks a Business Process Support Analyst in Charleston, SC to support overseas missions with financial systems analysis and reporting.

You will administer post-level databases, manage access, and collaborate with the Business Analysis team to implement improvements while ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with DoS policies.

Qualifications

Four-year degree in accounting or related field, or 4 years of related experience in substitution.
Knowledge of DoS financial systems and federal accounting policies is preferred.
Ability to analyze complex financial systems requirements and issues.

Responsibilities

Provide general administrative support for the PSU Team, including time and attendance and reporting.
Serve as the system administrator for databases at the post level.
Manage web-based system access and user roles with appropriate permissions.
Support Business Process Analysis for innovation and continuous improvement.
Produce reports and support financial system analysis and reconciliation activities.
Communicate with PSU management and staff about tool changes and status updates.
Log issues and track resolutions; support ISO-9001 activities as needed.
Operate and coordinate with tools like IBIS, SHIFTS, GOVT&A, and MS Office.
