Job summary

Optiver in Chicago is seeking a Financial Systems Specialist to own Coupa and Rossum platforms, keeping them stable and well-configured for a global finance function.

You will provide L1/L2 support across the finance systems landscape, automate repetitive tasks with AI, and partner with Procurement Operations and Finance to drive improvements.

Base salary range $120,000–$150,000 USD, with discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in financial systems support, administration, or platform ownership.
• Hands-on mastery of Coupa, ideally as an administrator or platform owner, across configuration, approvals, integrations, and supplier or invoice workflows.
• Experience with Rossum or a comparable intelligent invoice capture platform, or the aptitude to take full ownership of it quickly.
• Exposure to the wider finance systems landscape, such as NetSuite, Concur, or OneStream, is a plus.
• Strong interest in AI, automation, and process improvement to reduce manual work and improve support quality.

Responsibilities

• Own Coupa and Rossum platforms end-to-end, keeping them stable, scalable, and well-configured for the global finance function.
• Provide L1/L2 support across the finance systems landscape, covering ticket triage, incident management, SLA tracking, and root cause analysis.
• Automate repetitive tasks using documentation, process improvements, and AI-assisted tooling.
• Translate system issues into clear actions for finance stakeholders and manage expectations through timely communication.
