Job summary

Quantech Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to support NGA financial system operations, maintenance, and audits from its Springfield, VA location.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support the Financial System Help Desk Tier 1/2 for NGA financial systems.
• Process and resolve service requests routed by the NGA Enterprise Service Center (ESC).
• Perform user account actions, assign permissions, manage licenses and approvers, and execute batch job support.
• Maintain Help Desk SOPs and generate daily statistics and metrics.
• Support financial system enhancements by participating in governance and updating training materials.
• Execute post-patch and post-build testing, including UAT and test scripts.
• Support internal and external financial application access audits (PBC responses, SSAE 18).
• Maintain system security documentation and configuration management for APIs and release baselines.
• Utilize Service+, Jira, Confluence, and enterprise ticketing platforms to manage actions and tickets.

Job Description

The Senior Financial Systems Analyst serves as a member of team that:

SupportsFinancial System Operations & Maintenance Support for the Financial Management Directorate (FM) and FM Business Solutions Office (FMZ).

Supports the Financial System Help Desk Tier 1/2 for NGA financial systems including GEO-F, GEAR, ORBIT, CRS, and IPP, addressing service requests routed by the NGA Enterprise Service Center (ESC).

Performs administrative and support functions such as user account actions, batch job support, and system security administrator activities.

Supports financial system enhancements, master schedules, post-patch/build testing, and end-user training.

Provides audit and configuration support, including application access reviews, system security documentation, and tracking release baselines.

Tasks: Support internal NGA financial management and financial system operations, maintenance, enhancements, and audit activities as designated by government leads. This includes, but is not limited to:

Operating and supporting the Financial System Help Desk Tier 1/2 for NGA financial systems (GEO-F, GEAR, ORBIT, CRS, and IPP) by processing and resolving service requests routed via the NGA Enterprise Service Center (ESC).

Performing user account actions, assigning and tracking user permissions, managing licenses and approvers lists, and executing batch job support as required.

Maintaining Help Desk SOPs and generating/reporting daily Help Desk statistics and metrics.

Supporting financial system enhancements by participating in governance, maintaining technology roadmaps/master schedules, and updating end-user training plans and materials.

Executing post-patch and post-build testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and maintaining/updating test scripts.

Supporting internal and external financial application access audits, including Provided By Client (PBC) responses, system walkthroughs, and SSAE 18 reviews.

Maintaining system security documentation, policies and configuration management for released APIs, tracking incidents and discrepancies against tested baselines.

Utilizing Service+, Jira, Confluence, and enterprise ticketing platforms to manage user action items and resolve access/system trouble tickets.

Job Requirements

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field such as Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Information Technology or equivalent work experience

AND Target 8+ years of relevant experience (financial systems analyst / help desk support / systems administration) within the IC or DoD.

OR

Demonstrated specialized experience with DoD or NGA financial system operations, help desk Tier 1/2 escalation support, and security administration.

Demonstrated specialized experience supporting NGA Core Financial Systems (GEO-F, GEAR, ORBIT, CRS, IPP).

Clearance: TS/SCI w/CI Poly

Desired Skill Set:

Demonstrated specialized experience with NGA financial systems and tools including GEO-F, GEAR, ORBIT, CRS, IPP, PRISM/REQMOD, CGI Momentum, Service+, Jira, and Confluence.

Demonstrated experience in Help Desk Tier 1/2 support, user account administration, SOP maintenance, and daily metrics reporting.

Demonstrated knowledge of audit support (PBC responses, SSAE 18 reviews), security role maintenance, and system configuration tracking.

Demonstrated experience conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), script maintenance, and end-user training development for system enhancements.

Project management training or certification (PMP boot camp / continuing education).
