Job summary

VSolvit seeks a Financial Systems Analyst 2 with an active Secret clearance to support NSWC PHD in Port Hueneme. The role focuses on detailed financial analysis, budget preparation, funds tracking, and related services.

You must work onsite, adhere to policies, and communicate with supervisors while meeting deadlines. The candidate will develop budget analyses, run financial reports, and ensure accuracy across multiple branches and projects, coordinating with departments to gather supporting

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business with 3+ years related experience.
• In lieu of degree, 5 years hands-on Navy financial and administrative systems experience.
• 3–5 years in financial and quantitative analysis; MS Office suite knowledge (Excel).
• DoD/government environment experience preferred.
• If previously employed by U.S. government, ethics letter may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed financial analysis and tracking for multiple branches, divisions, and projects.
• Develop budget analyses and present findings to management.
• Create and edit Excel macros; build and manage pivot tables and linked spreadsheets.
• Write and present clear, detailed financial reports in English.
• Coordinate funding documents and ensure accuracy of accounting data.
