Job summary

Teachers College, Columbia University seeks a Financial Systems Analyst to support financial systems including Banner Finance, Emburse Enterprise, and Unimarket. You will process daily and month-end uploads as part of the close process and collaborate across Finance, Accounting, Budget & Planning and TCIT.

The role requires 2+ years of ERP experience, strong Excel skills and ability to train end users. Hybrid work arrangement offered within the NYC area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or closely related field.
• 2+ years’ experience working with financial or accounting systems.
• Experience supporting ERP systems including administration, end-user support, testing and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of General Ledger, AP, AR,Purchasing, Budget and Payroll processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support for financial systems and manage user access.
• Process ad-hoc and month-end financial system uploads.
• Assist with system training and documentation.
• Maintain Banner Finance structures and support month-end close.
• Support cross-functional meetings with Finance, Accounting, Budget & Planning and TCIT.
• Participate in system testing and implementation of updates.
