Job summary

Lane County in Oregon is seeking an experienced financial systems professional to support the operation, maintenance, improvement, and upgrade of County financial software systems.

The role acts as a functional expert and liaison between Finance, Technology Services, system users, and vendors, analyzing processes, supporting upgrades, developing queries and reports, and training users to ensure accurate, secure, and efficient financial operations.

Qualifications

• Six years of education and/or experience in municipal budgets, finance, accounting, or similar.
• Experience with governmental finance, accounting systems, or system upgrades is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and user needs to identify system solutions.
• Coordinate projects and document business and system requirements.
• Develop user guidance and training and translate complex information for diverse audiences.

Education
