EastGroup Properties is looking for a Financial Systems Administrator to join our team. This key role will provide critical system support to our financial operations and reporting. This role will be responsible for system configuration, financial data integrity, reporting, and user support across property management and accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and the ability to translate business needs into system solutions.

Summary of Job Duties

• Administer and maintain Yardi platforms, including user setup, security roles, and configuration.
• Manage and support other business systems as needed to meet evolving operational requirements.
• Configure and maintain property accounting structures, chart of accounts, and general ledger integrations.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize financial and operational reports within Yardi and related tools.
• Support Accounting close processes, ensuring data accuracy and system alignment.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide user support and training.
• Manage system upgrades, patches, and integrations with third-party platforms.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance within internal policies and audit requirements.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience administering Yardi or similar property management systems.
• Strong accounting background with understanding of general ledger, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Experience in commercial real estate or property management environments preferred.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to support cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager and Elevate modules.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and other data tools.
