Your Role as a Financial Systems Administrator:

As a Financial Systems Administrator, your role revolves around managing and maintaining the Finance-centric solutions within our organization. You'll handle tasks such as user management, system configuration, customization, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations. Responsibilities also include optimizing processes, providing user support, and implementing data management and security practices. Some of our Financial Systems in scope are NetSuite, Zuora, and Concur as well as others connected to those.

A Day in the Life of a Financial Systems Administrator:

  • Troubleshooting: Investigating and resolving user-reported issues and system errors
  • User management: Adding, removing, and updating user accounts, permissions, and roles
  • Report Building: Providing initial support & guidance around reports & dashboards in supported systems
  • Support: Providing assistance and guidance to users, answering questions, and providing direction in day-to-day use of the solutions
  • Projects: Contributing to all parts of a project lifecycle; including input during requirements gathering, execution of assigned actions, as well as supporting testing & documentation
  • Collaboration: Working closely with the broader Business Systems team to ensure seamless processes & change management across the Systems ecosystem
  • Customization: Implementing and maintaining customizations, workflows, and scripts to meet business requirements
  • Integration management: Monitoring and maintaining integrations with other systems to ensure data flows smoothly. Identifying and raising potential issues to colleagues or vendors if not able to resolve directly
  • System Maintenance: including regression testing for scheduled system releases

What You’ll Need:

  • Systems Experience: 4+ Years of advanced knowledge and experience with one or more ERP solutions
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong foundational knowledge of technical impact, customizations, and change management processes
  • Accounting Knowledge: Must have experience with GAAP Accounting, with significant experience in Intercompany Eliminations and Foreign Currency Transactions & Calculations
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Able to analyze complex issues, troubleshoot system errors, and implement or suggest effective solutions
  • Attention-to-Detail: Outputs through own or guided tasks are accurate and consistent with a mind to system configuration and data management
  • Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with users, stakeholders, and technical teams to understand requirements, provide support, and facilitate collaboration
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs, learn new features or technologies, and implement best practices to optimize system usage within the organization
