Senior Financial Analyst - CBRN DCO
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide technical, programmatic automated database data entry and editorial assistance to the medical chemical and biological defense science and technology program managers in preparing narrative and tabular documentation to support the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process and related activities.
- Build annual Command Budget Estimates and develop Unfunded Requirements requests.
- Manage disbursement rates related to the CBDP S&T programs, including core and congressional funds.
- Develop reports, summaries, and briefing materials utilizing RDT&E and Medical Chemical and Biological Defense Research Program (MCBDRP) databases and program descriptions.
- Organize fiscal budget reviews as needed.
- Prepare guidance for establishing fiscal spend plans.
- Analyze monthly financial performance measurements of funds execution status.
Minimum Requirements
- BA degree with 8–12 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 6–10 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- Successful track record of managing research program funds.
- Proficiency with government and US Army software suites, including GFEBS, JICAP, and JSCBIS.
- Work performed in an office setting near HQ and USAMRDC (Fort Detrick), with core hours from 0900 to 1500, Monday through Friday.
- Ability to work in telework arrangements.
- Must complete and sign a contractor NDA prior to starting work.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and hold a DoD Secret clearance.
Preferred Requirements
- Familiarity with additional software such as EDMS, ETMS2, and SharePoint.
