WakeMed Health & Hospitals seeks a Lead Cost Report professional to prepare annual Medicare/Medicaid Cost Reports and provide periodic estimates for third-party reserves. You will collaborate with the Reimbursement Manager to ensure timely submissions and coordinate with auditors on various cost report audits.
Involved in reviewing and submitting the uncompensated care survey to the state of North Carolina, supporting data collection as required by external vendors.
Serves as the Lead Cost Report position in preparing the annual Medicare/ Medicaid Cost Reports and providing periodic (monthly/quarterly) estimates of third-party cost report reserves. Works closely with the Reimbursement Manager to ensure the timeliness of cost report submission, intermediary audits, including cost report audits, wage index audits, and occupational mix audits, and data collections as required by outside vendors. The Financial Specialist is also involved in the review and submission of the annual uncompensated care survey to the state of North Carolina.
