WakeMed seeks a Lead Cost Report professional in Raleigh, NC to drive Medicare/Medicaid cost reporting and reserve estimation for third‑party audits. You will collaborate with the Reimbursement Manager to ensure timely submissions, audits, and comprehensive data requests from vendors.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration and at least 5 years in accounting/finance with reimbursement experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead the annual Medicare/Medicaid Cost Reports preparation.
• Provide monthly/quarterly estimates of third‑party cost report reserves and coordinate with the Reimbursement Manager.
• Support audits (cost report, wage index, occupational mix) and data collections for outside vendors.
• Review and submit the annual uncompensated care survey to the state of North Carolina.
