Job summary

Arkansas Supreme Court is seeking a Financial Specialist to manage accounting records, process vouchers and invoices, and audit fiscal information for accuracy. You will post transactions, balance entries, and support month-end and year-end closings while maintaining asset inventories and office supplies.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and at least three years of accounting or financial analysis experience, with knowledge of AASIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of accounting or financial analysis experience.
• Knowledge of accounting practices and AASIS is required.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain manual and mechanized accounting records of financial transactions for the Court.
• Review and process expense vouchers, invoices, and other fiscal documents for payment.
• Audit fiscal information for accuracy and post transactions to journals/ledgers.
• Balance entries and reconcile errors manually or electronically.
• Assist with budgets and fiscal month-end and year-end closings.
• Maintain agency asset and office supply inventories.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
