Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Financial Specialist, Associate to join our team! In this role you will work closely with our senior FP&A Finance leadership team to prepare corporate finance deliverables that support planning, forecasting, data analytics and reporting.
This role will be Hybrid based out of our Chantilly, VA, office.
What You'll Be Doing:
Participate and support for the annual plan and quarterly forecasts for the corporate, functional indirect departments.
Prepare and analyze monthly business reports to provide key financial information for senior management (CEO, CFO, Functional Leaders, Sr. Finance leads).
Provide support during the monthly/quarterly accounting close process and assist with required schedule preparations, reconciliations, and analysis and communication of performance.
Analysis and variance reporting of monthly/quarterly financial statements.
Support activities for the corporate consolidation and enterprise level planning system.
Collaborate with government accounting and finance teams on the allocation of indirect expense down to entities and business units
Provide ad hoc support including analyzing cash flow, indirect expenditures, CAPEX, IRAD and B&P costs as directed.
Support activities for initiatives including new investments and cost reduction actions.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related discipline.
Recent college graduate with internship experience.
MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word experience.
Strong analytical modeling and reporting skills.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Superior communications skills and ability to work independently and as a team member.

Recent college graduate with 2+ years of internship experience
