Workday, Inc. is seeking a Financials Solutions Consultant for our Professional Services team.

This remote role focuses on demonstrating Workday's Financial Management and PSA capabilities to prospective clients, leading discovery calls, and delivering compelling product demonstrations. You'll engage with sales and product teams across the North America region, travel up to 50% as needed, and bring deep accounting and cloud-based financial management experience to help customers realize

Qualifications

• 5+ years of financial domain expertise.
• 4+ years with core accounting concepts (GL/AR/AP, Fixed Assets, Cash Management).
• 4+ years with cloud-based financial management applications (Workday, Netsuite, SAP, Oracle).
• 5+ years in a cloud-based Solution Consulting role.

Responsabilités

• Deliver technical product presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and seminars.
• Assist in closing sales by answering questions and providing training on our solution.
• Contribute to prospect qualification, demo criteria, and proof of concept builds.
• Support sales, marketing, technical and channel objectives and RFIs.

About the Role

Workday is looking for a Solution Consultant with Financial Management / ERP expertise, to join our Professional Services Industry focused Solution Consulting team.

As a member of our strategic team of Solution Consulting Professional and Business Services (PBS) finance experts, you will be the face of Workday Financials and PS solutions to our prospective customers in the PS space. You will engage prospective customers as a key member of the sales team, responsible for leading discovery calls, collaborative product solution development and delivery of compelling product demonstrations.

At Workday, we help Professional Services customers transform to realize unique efficiencies and pervasive insights afforded by our best-in‑class single system‑of‑record for people, projects, financials and business intelligence. You will leverage your industry and finance knowledge, polished presentation skills, and collaborative sales team experience to articulate the differentiated value of the Workday solution, expanding the adoption of Software as a Service (SaaS) in the Professional Services industry space.

Responsibilities include:

• The delivery of relevant technical product presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and seminars.
• To assist in the closure of sales opportunities by demonstrating a complete
• understanding of and resolving questions regarding our solution, services, and
• training.
• To contribute to the qualification of prospects, proposed demonstration criteria, proof of concept system builds and sales cycle closure plans.
• Supporting all sales, marketing, technical and channel objectives. To assist sales in the response to RFIs

About You

Basic Qualifications Solutions Consultant

• 5+ years of extensive financial domain expertise, including
• 4+ years working with core accounting concepts (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Cash Management), as well as industry relevant topics such as professional services automation (PSA)
• 4+ years of business experience with relevant cloud‑based financial management applications (e.g. Workday, Netsuite, Sage Intacct, Zuora, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• 5+ years in a cloud‑based Solution Consulting professional role

Basic Qualifications Senior Solutions Consultant

• 8+ years of extensive financial domain expertise, including
• 7+ years working with core accounting concepts (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Cash Management), as well as industry relevant topics such as professional services automation (PSA)
• 4+ years of business experience with relevant cloud‑based financial management applications (e.g. Workday, Netsuite, Sage Intacct, Zuora, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• 5+ years in a cloud‑based Solution Consulting professional role

Other Qualifications

• Experience in financial management within Professional and Business Services, a plus
• Experience selling and working with AI tools, including hands‑on expertise with AI go‑to‑market (GTM) consumption models.
• Ability to work under pressure and work on multiple projects individually as well as
• working cross‑functionally
• Exceptional and dynamic presentation & communication skills
• Outstanding professional discovery, presentation, communication, and influencing
• skills to C-Level Executives, talking to and selling to the office of the CFO specifically.
• Experience presenting cloud‑based solutions to both functional and technical
• audiences and experience with value based selling, a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, AND/OR equivalent work experience
