Strategic People Advisors is partnering with a prominent local general agency of OneAmerica Financial to recruit for a structured associate program. No prior financial industry experience is required, as the program provides classroom-to-field training in macroeconomic planning, client acquisition, and advanced case design, paired with a seasoned mentor.

You will build a local advisory business by meeting communities, networks, and professional organizations while progressing through licensing

Qualifications

• No finance background required; sales/teaching/ops/management backgrounds welcomed.
• Must pass a standard industry background check and licensing exam (sponsorship provided).
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent track record of professional success.
• Structured training program provided to develop macroeconomic planning and client acquisition skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured, multi-phase licensing and financial planning training program.
• Learn to host consultative discovery conversations to evaluate client needs, financial vulnerabilities, and cash flow.
• Design tailored asset-protection, disability, and retirement planning solutions using the firm’s advanced financial modeling software.
• Build a local advisory brand by engaging with local communities, professional organizations, and personal networks.
