Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center (HVMHC) is seeking a Financial Services Specialist responsible for coordinating insurance verification, financial clearance and public program enrollment with Clients, Support Staff and Finance Department. The Financial Services Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, supporting access to services through insurance and billing management, state and federal program assistance, financial counseling and system navigation.
Must be able to move in a manner conducive to the execution of daily activities. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must communicate with others and exchange information. The employee regularly operates equipment (listed below) on a daily basis. Occasional bending and lifting of office materials may be required.
Perform other duties as assigned by Finance Director.
