RSM is seeking a Temporary Senior Associate in Risk Consulting for Financial Services in New York. You will work on engagements supporting risk, internal audit, and controls activities across complex financial services environments.

The ideal candidate has experience in risk, internal audit, risk management, or controls, with exposure to banking, capital markets, or sales & trading environments preferred. The temporary role offers collaboration with seasoned professionals to enhance governance

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field required.
• 3+ years of professional experience in risk consulting, internal audit, or controls.
• Experience in financial services industry preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support internal audit, risk consulting, and controls engagements for financial services clients.
• Execute planning, risk assessments, walkthroughs, testing, issue identification, and reporting.
• Assess design and operating effectiveness of business processes and controls.
• Perform risk and control testing and document results per engagement requirements.
• Interview stakeholders to understand processes, risks, and controls.
• Identify control gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop practical recommendations to strengthen control environment.
• Prepare workpapers, process documents, testing docs, and reports.
• Communicate observations and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Assist leadership with timelines, deliverables, and client needs.
• Review governance, operational risk, regulatory compliance as needed.
