Greenberg Traurig, LLP, a global law firm, seeks a mid-level Associate for the Financial Regulatory & Compliance Practice. This full-time role may be based in Phoenix or other major U.S. offices, handling financial services regulatory work for clients across industries.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of regulatory and compliance experience, licensing knowledge, and strong research and writing skills. Spanish fluency is a plus; enforcement experience is a plus.

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a mid-level Associate in the Financial Regulatory & Compliance Practice. They can be based in our Miami, DC, New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Phoenix or Dallas office. We offer competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package. Responsibilities & Expectations

Candidates must be willing to take on significant responsibility, have a strong commitment to client service and be diligent, proactive and team-oriented. Candidates must be admitted to or eligible for admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Qualifications

• Candidates will have between 3 and 5 years of financial services regulatory and compliance experience (particularly in the areas of banking, money services businesses, payment systems, FinTech firms).
• Experience with licensing/chartering, and knowledge of key financial services laws and regulations (e.g., BSA/AML, sanctions, third-party risk management, and consumer compliance).
• Enforcement experience is a plus.
• Strong academic background and excellent legal research, analysis and writing skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.

Pay

Expected Pay Range: $260,000 - $365,000 per year determined based upon education, experience, job-related factors permitted by law, internal equity, and market data.
