Job summary

Northwestern Mutual Gilbert District Office seeks a Director of Selection to lead sourcing, recruiting and selecting Financial Representatives. The role builds community relationships, develops centers of influence (COIs), generates referrals and promotes the Northwestern Mutual career to drive officer growth.

The Director of Selection creates and leads the recruiting plan, achieves activity and growth goals, and collaborates with other recruiters to share leads and best practices.

Qualifications

• Two or more years progressively responsible work experience recruiting, and/or in sales or related field.
• Experience in financial services or related industry is desired.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and influence others.
• Experience with prospecting and generating leads via phone or in-person interactions.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop effective referral sources and COIs; develop lead strategies from multiple sources.
• Create and execute a network office recruiting plan to reach activity and annual goals.
• Participate in community clubs and organizations to promote Northwestern Mutual.
• Promote office growth and recruiting successes within the office.
• Develop relationships with other recruiters to share leads and best practices.
