Highwire is seeking an Account Executive for the Public Relations team focused on Financial Services. You will support media relations, content development, and program execution for brands in finance, banking, and insurtech.

Strong writers who communicate clearly and manage client programs will thrive in this collaborative, fast-paced agency environment. You will craft pitches, build media lists, track results, and work with senior staff to report on campaigns while growing a network of media

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of PR or communications experience, ideally in an agency environment.
• Familiarity with financial services, insurtech, or banking industries is a plus.
• Strong writing and editing skills across formats.
• Growing media contacts and enthusiasm for media relations.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Proactive, flexible, and collaborative attitude.
• Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day client contact and manage project timelines and deliverables.
• Participate in client calls and contribute to status updates, coverage reports, and planning.
• Support program execution across media relations, awards, speaking, and thought leadership campaigns.
• Research industry trends to identify media opportunities and angles.
• Draft and send media pitches and press materials aligned with client goals.
• Monitor media coverage and report trends in business and finance.
• Assist in developing clients’ social media and amplification strategies, especially on LinkedIn.
