Job summary

RDV Corporation is seeking an undergraduate to assist the Financial Services Accounting team in downtown Grand Rapids, MI, working 18-20 hours per week during the Winter 2026/Spring 2027 semester, with potential to move to full-time (40 hours) in the summer.

You will compile and scan invoices, review vendor data, enter account activity, and prepare journal entries, gaining hands-on experience in accounting workflows while maintaining confidentiality and quality.

Qualifications

• Current college junior or senior with completed or in progress related coursework.
• Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to initiate, prioritize, follow through on projects, work independently, and be self-directed.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Positive, professional, and service-oriented demeanor
• Uncompromised commitment to the highest level of confidentiality in all aspects of job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Compile and scan invoices for multiple entities.
• Initial intake and review of vendor invoices, verifying the accuracy of OCR-captured data and entering missing information.
• Enter monthly account activity based on bank statements.
• Review employee expense reports and compare to supporting receipts.
• Prepare and enter general journal entries, as needed.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
