Financial Sales Manager (Branch Manager)-Business Development

As a Financial Sales Manager, your primary focus will be on outbound calling activities to generate new business opportunities. You may partner with a business or commercial banker to provide expertise on business deposits and related services. You will manage sales efforts and oversee office operations with the support of an operations specialist in a boutique branch location.

Responsibilities
  • Outbound Sales/Business Development: Lead with individual and team sales goals, develop COIs, leverage business relationships, engage proactively with customers, prospects, and referral sources, represent the bank in the community, and identify CRA opportunities.
  • Team Management: Manage team performance, support associate development through coaching and mentoring, and ensure results meet customer and bank expectations.
  • Service/Operations Standards: Comply with regulations, policies, and procedures to manage risks, foster partnerships, and initiate conversations for sales and referrals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of experience in sales, customer service, lending, or financial services, including supervisory experience.
  • Or high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
Additional Requirements
  • Must complete federal registration and annual renewal as required by the SAFE Act.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of retail banking products and services.
  • Ability to network and build centers of influence.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify opportunities.
