SECU seeks a Financial Reporting Lead to drive monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting, partnering with Finance leadership to deliver accurate, timely insights. The role blends finance and data analytics, requiring strong communication of complex concepts to both finance and non-finance audiences.

You'll own reporting packages, collaborate across Accounting and Loan Administration, and establish governance and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or related quantitative field.
• 3+ years in financial risk, financial modeling, or financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, forecasting, and performance metrics.
• Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
• Advanced proficiency in SAS, Python, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Own the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packages.
• Investigate model performance to identify areas for improvement and coordinate with financial modeling teams to address them.
• Partner with Accounting, Loan Administration, and other business units to determine reporting needs and align financial assumptions.
• Establish best practices, documentation, and governance for financial reporting.
• Stay abreast of macroeconomic environment and communicate potential impacts on credit union activities.
