Job summary

Freddie Mac is seeking a Senior Business Lead in Enterprise Risk to partner with subject matter experts and develop executive risk insights. You will manage projects, prepare Board and regulator materials, and deliver high-quality risk reporting for senior leadership.

This role emphasizes collaborative problem solving, data analytics, and the creation of concise, impactful executive presentations to support strategic decisions. Experience with risk reporting and data visualization is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
• 10+ years in financial services, business management, risk management, or related discipline with project/stakeholder management.
• Experience developing and supporting risk reporting for senior leadership.
• Working knowledge of Python, data visualization tools, or analytics platforms.
• Experience with process improvement, automation, or AI applications is a plus.
• CFA or FRM credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality risk reporting for Board, Risk Committee, regulators and senior leaders.
• Partner with across first- and second-line teams to gather data, identify trends, and monitor risk exposure.
• Monitor housing industry trends, regulatory requirements, and internal strategies to provide timely insights.
• Coordinate agendas, materials, and follow-up actions for Enterprise Risk Committee and Treasury Risk Plan.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to incorporate data visualizations, automation, and analytics into risk reports.
• Distill complex risk information into clear, actionable insights for the Chief Risk Officer.
